Delete your SnapHound account

How to delete your SnapHound account and the data associated with it.

Solo accounts (just you)

  1. Open SnapHound and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Scroll down, tap Delete account, and confirm.

Your account is deactivated right away. Sign back in within 30 days and everything is restored; after 30 days your account and all of your data — profile, photos and videos, folders, tags, markup, and messages — are permanently deleted.

If you are part of a team

The photos and videos you take on a team belong to the company account and are kept as its records, so we do not delete them, and we never remove your name from the work you created. Because of that, a shared team account can't be self-deleted. To leave, ask a team admin to remove you: you are taken off the team immediately, and your work — with your name on it — stays with the company.

Email contact@snaphoundapp.com from the address on your account and we will help you delete a solo account, or remove you from a team.

What we may keep

We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes, and system backups are purged on a rolling basis. On a team, the photos, videos, and folders you created (and your name on them) remain with the company account. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be kept.
